Measure the site.
Leave with the plan.

measurd turns an iPhone and the laser measure you already carry into one field instrument. Sketch the walls, walk them with the laser, and drive off with a scaled floor plan, wall elevations, measured photos and a client-ready report — before the office has opened the email.

How measurd works: sketch, walk, plan and elevations, report

  1. 01Sketch

Trace the room with a finger. measurd recognises the wall chain — corners, returns, islands — and squares it up.

  2. 02Walk

Each wall waits for its value. Aim, pull the trigger on your laser, and the true distance lands on that wall. Or type it.

  3. 03Plan + elevations

The plan re-solves as numbers arrive. Every wall gets a scaled elevation with dimension chains from the same values.

  4. 04Report

Photos, plan, elevations, notes and every measurement in one report — PDF/JPG, the client's language, or straight into your CRM.

02Wall plans & elevations

The plan is drawn on site — not redrawn in the office.

This is the part the laser vendors' apps make you fight for. In measurd, sketching the room, measuring it and getting a scaled plan with elevations is one continuous flow — not three modes with three learning curves.

SKETCH → WALLS

Freehand becomes a wall chain

Trace the room roughly. measurd recognises corners, returns and islands, snaps them into a proper wall chain, and squares it up. Add partitions and wall thickness in place.

MEASURE-WALK

One wall, one trigger pull

Walk the room wall by wall. Each wall waits for its value; the laser reading lands on the wall you're standing at, and a proportional solver keeps the whole plan consistent as numbers arrive.

ELEVATIONS

Every wall gets its elevation

From the same numbers, each wall gets a scaled elevation with dimension chains — openings, sized elements, water and electric markers — with the elevation photo alongside for proof.

KEYNOTES & VERSIONS

Notes that print, history that stays

Per-wall keynotes print on the report as K1, K2… Plans and markups are versioned automatically; restore any earlier state without losing the current one.

03Measured photos

Every dimension, on the photo it belongs to.

Photos are the proof the plan needs. Photograph each wall or detail, draw the dimension where it sits, and land the true value from the laser — the photo, the number and the report stay in agreement.

SHAPES
Arrows, lines, areas, angles and text — drawn on the photo, so the value stays attached to the thing it measures. No more “which wall was that?”
LASER OR TYPED
Draw the shape, pull the trigger: the reading lands. Recent readings wait in a strip if you'd rather assign later. No laser on you? Type it.

VERSIONED
Every markup is autosaved as a revision. Undo, redo, restore — the history stays with the photo.

04Everything else the job needs

Built for the job site, not the office.

Everything an installer needs to leave a site with a complete, legible measurement package — and nothing they don't.

  • Reports that travel

One report with photos, plan, elevations, notes and every value. Print to PDF, export annotated JPGs or a room package, share it — or send it straight to your CRM. DXF for CAD is on the roadmap.

  • Team workspacesSoon

Seats for a crew, shared projects, one report standard for the whole company. Coming with cloud sync — the piece the vendor apps never built.

  • Local-first. Works offline.

Every job is stored on your phone, so a basement with no signal is still a workday. Your projects are yours — nothing is sold, nothing is scraped.

  • Two languages, one report

Work in English or Spanish. Reports come out in the customer's language — chosen separately — so a Spanish-speaking client gets an Informe de medición while you keep working in English.

  • Keynotes that print

General notes and per-wall keynotes, typed or dictated on site, numbered K1, K2… on the plan, the elevation and the report. Nothing lives on a scrap of paper.

  • Straight into your CRM

Upload a room as a measurement package — photos, markup, layout, notes, values — to the system your office already runs. An integrations API for other systems is on the roadmap.

05Compatible devices

Your laser. Not the laser vendor's app.

Bosch and Leica each ship an app that talks only to their own devices and treats plan drawing as an add-on. measurd is built by installers for the trade: bring the laser you already own, and if you don't have it on you, type the number.

Your app in English. Their report in Spanish.

Report language is its own setting, separate from the app language. Set it for the customer, and every generated report, note and label comes out in their language — while you keep working in yours. It runs both ways: Spanish UI, English report, too.

Why a cap?

Three active projects is plenty for a solo installer measuring one job at a time. Pro is for a crew with a dozen jobs open at once — and, when it ships, for keeping them in sync across phones.

Purchased in the iOS app · billed through your Apple ID

Pro is an auto-renewing subscription bought inside the measurd app on iPhone. Payment is charged to your Apple ID; it renews automatically until cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your App Store account settings. Prices in USD; local prices may vary. See the Terms and Privacy Policy.

09Local-first

Your jobs are yours.

measurd is local-first on purpose. A job site is somewhere between a basement and a customer's living room — the tool should never depend on our servers being up.

STORAGE

On your device

Projects, photos, measurements and layouts live in the app's own database on your phone. Nothing is uploaded unless you send it somewhere.

NETWORK

Offline is normal

Basements, new builds, dead zones — measurd doesn't need a connection to measure, draw, or generate a report.

ACCOUNT

Sign in for identity, not for data

Sign in with Apple or Google identifies you and your plan. It does not copy your jobs anywhere. When cloud sync ships, it's opt-in and part of Pro.

POLICY

We don't sell your data

No ad networks, no data brokers, no scraping your reports. The privacy policy says so in plain words. Read the privacy policy
